SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure Installation site is assessed and ready
• Coordination of all resources (BCA, BUS, KMI and third party) to ensure a smooth installation
• Ensure technical resources are trained and ready
• Project manage the installation set-up and provide transition hand off to local team
• Continuously communicate with the customer

Pre-sales
• Oversee the completion of the Site Survey in addition to un-crating, entry into the site, staging of the equipment & clean-up
• Arrange for the National Technical Support Specialist to meet with the client to discuss documents (Customer Expectation Guide, CSA/TUV electrical certifications & SOW)

Scheduling
• In conjunction with the local Service Manager and BUS/KMI, ensure that the local technicians are registered for technical training at the earliest opportunity
• Liaise with technical support from BCA, BUS and/or the third party manufacturer (EFI, MGI, etc.), to have their staff assigned to the installation
• See that the ordering of initial consumables and supplies required to prime and run the equipment through the installation, is entered in advance of the delivery
• Share the completed site survey & coordinate the delivery and riggers with the logistics group
• Arrange for key-operator training, from BCA, BUS and/or the third party manufacturer (EFI, MGI, etc.), that will cover routine maintenance & pre-press workflows. Complete a training checklist confirming the required training is completed

Installation & Setup
• Track the completion of all scheduled events, in order to maintain continuity and deadlines
• Control the communication to the customer (through one individual), with daily/weekly up-dates to all stakeholders (internally & externally), by way of conference calls & emails
• Follow-up and monitor the correspondence for all outstanding issues, including RMA’s/warranties and escalations to the manufacturer
• Once the key-operator training is complete and the equipment is operational, facilitate the hand-off to the local service department with an on-site meeting at the customer’s location. At this point, the customer will be instructed on ordering supplies & placing service calls

Other Duties/Projects
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Community College Certificate in Electronic Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience/education)
• Extensive field service experience (5 year minimum)
• General network knowledge mandatory (TCP/IP, SMTP, Windows & Mac), N+ certification preferred
• Knowledge of the industry hardware and software, services and solutions including our third party products (EFI, KIP & MGI)
• Industry certifications in the area of project management are an asset

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate in French and English, at all levels internally or externally
• Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
• Above average customer relation skills
• Very well organized, demonstrate project management skills to meet deadlines & remain efficient & productive in stressful situations
• Own vehicle with a valid driver’s license
• Travelling within Canada and the US is a requirement
• Candidate must provide & maintain valid travel documents at own expense
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and may require afterhours travel and overnight stay including weekends
