POSITION PROFILE

The Financial Analyst (FA) is relied on by Management to analyze, interpret, and provide meaningful financial information required for strategic decision-making. Projects assigned are often deadline-oriented, requiring strong organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, and proven reliability.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

    Forecasting

    • Prepare weekly revenue forecast including coordination of information required from other departments
    • Direct involvement with rolling forecast creation, maintenance, and interpretation of results
    • Continual review of forecasting techniques for improved accuracy and efficiency

    Reporting

    • Prepare progress reports required during month end closing (Revenue, COS, GP, and expense review)
    • Coordinate with Reporting team for assistance in financial review package preparation
    • Providing meaningful interpretation of financial results; upcoming risks; strategy implications
    • Generate reports for key users

    Customer Service (internal and external)

    • Build strong relationships by providing consistent, high-quality customer service in all interactions
    • Ensure report users have all relevant in important information to make excellent business decision
    • Effectively communicate with leasing partner

    Analytics

    • Analyze raw data information and making it meaningful to key users
    • Compile month-end posting elements, as well as provide meaningful interpretation of the results; upcoming risks; strategy implications
    • Summarize the Premier Finance portfolio status and ensure discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner

    Other Duties/Ad-Hoc Projects

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Advanced level of Excel with comfort in manipulating large amounts of data, including use of vertical lookups, pivot tables, creation of reports
    • Experience in SAP and Business Warehouse software programs (beneficial)
    • Detail-oriented; placing a great value on accuracy
    • High degree of ownership; ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
    • Strong communication skills with consistency in professionalism (oral and written)
    • Solid interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork, with discernment for sensitive/confidential matters
