The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all recruitment activities, assisting in

recruitment for open positions, as well as onboarding activities delivering a professional and consistent

experience for candidates.


 Coordinate the recruitment activities of the company, working closely with human resources partners and

the hiring manager to complete the recruitment cycle (i.e. post vacant positions, screen resumes, complete

reference checks, conduct background checks, and assist with scheduling interviews and panel assessments)

 Sourcing: In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager, identify the best ways to attract and source

candidates, both active and passive, including the use of Social Media;

 Recruiting: Working in collaboration with the hiring managers to assist with the recruitment process

including proper job description, posting, resume screening, phone interviews, selection for second

interview, assessment and offer letter process.

 Reporting: track and report on current openings and hires

 Onboarding: ensure that candidates provide proper documentation in the offer process

 Provide support to manage the recruitment programs for the organization

 Assist in the execution of the on‐boarding program for new employees

 Track recruitment metrics and develop reports to ensure process effectiveness

 Manage external job postings and on‐line ads

 Maintain a data‐base of potential candidates for ongoing Management use

 Conduct and document exit interviews as applicable

 Support HR Business Partners

 Collaborate on HR special projects and research initiatives

Other Duties/Projects

 As assigned


 College or University degree in Business, Human Resources or other relevant discipline

 Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a corporate recruitment role, or agency

 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), Fluency in French would be considered an asset

 Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and networking skills

 Capacity to work in a fast pace environment and multi‐task

 Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and job board


 Experience with a talent management system preferred

 Effective time management/prioritization skills

 Strong analytical skills and attention to details

 Able to handle highly confidential information accordingly

 Fully bilingual – able to read, write, understand, and speak fluent French
